Gavin Cooper, Managing Director.Gavin is one of the founding members of TTP and the current Managing Director; it has been his privilege to see the organisation grow. Following on from a 20 year career in the IT industry, during a 3 year sabbatical Gavin was drawn to take up studies in the field of counselling – with the benefit of hindsight his plan was to ensure a far more fulfilling future. A big part of Gavin’s role today is to ensure that TTP grows at a sustainable rate and maintains its position as market leader and employer of choice for those that excel in the treatment profession. Tom Kirkwood, Chief Executive, Strategic Development.Tom has a diverse business background predominantly based in sales and marketing. With an MBA from Ashridge Management College, Tom’s role is to develop government relationships and encourage adoption of the TTP Recovery Community model. Tom is an advocate of Recovery and choice for service users throughout the UK. Amanda Finch, Commercial Director.Amanda is our Commercial Director based at Holly House, Warrington. She is responsible for Government Sector business development for both tier 3 and tier 4 service provisions. Her previous role before joining TTP was working as a DAT Manager where she was responsible for commissioning drug treatment services. She brings with her an in-depth understanding of the drug treatment field from a commissioning perspective and is able to translate this into good practice enabling us to provide good quality recovery-focused solutions for clients and commissioners. She holds a Certificate and Diploma in Management and a Certificate of Credit in Commissioning and Purchasing for Public Care. Jef Mullins, Group Treatment Manager.Jef joined Trust the Process in March 2007, as a counsellor in our Luton centre. Jef was centre manager in Luton, where he is still the CQC registered manager, before becoming the first Group Treatment Manager as we expanded from 3 to 10 centres. He has double diplomas in psychodynamic counselling from Westminster Pastoral Foundation and the University of Hertfordshire and was the first practitioner in the UK to be accredited with the NVQ 4 Leadership and Management for Care Services. Before becoming a counsellor, Jef was a drama, dance and English teacher, headmaster in Spain and ran an Arts Festival in the south of England. David Durand, Operations Manager.David is responsible for: Human Resources, Training, our Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008), Health & Safety, Projects, Procedures and Operations. Qualified as: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Technician – Mechanical and Electrical. Holds qualifications in: Organisation and Methods, IT Training, Software programming, CIPD certificated Trainer, Project Manager and Management. Suzanne Peak, Housing Director.Suzanne has worked at Trust the Process Counselling Centre since August 2006 and is responsible for the management of housing and also the administration departments. With over 8 years State Benefit and 6 years Property Management Experience. She is also responsible for housing and accommodation at The Clifton and Thames Clinic’s, Including all the design and maintenance. Chris Simonite, Admissions Manager.Chris embarked on a career in the Drug and Alcohol field owing to personal experiences of Drug and Alcohol related trauma. Having completed a CertHE at Sheffield Hallam University in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Drug and Alcohol Substance Misuse, Chris joined TTP to work in the admissions department, supporting individuals and families through the sometimes challenging task of entering into treatment. Chris is available 7 days a week, at all times day and night to answer any questions that you might have about treatment. Dr. Jack Leach, Consultant Doctor.Dr. Jack Leach has been a doctor since 1981. He trained in general practice, public health medicine as well as substance misuse. Jack has been working in substance misuse services since 1998, full time from 2002. He currently works in Cheshire community drug and alcohol teams, Trust the Process Warrington, as well as a drug and alcohol detox unit in Manchester. From 2009 he has been the Royal College of General Practitioners joint lead for developing training in alcohol problems for general practitioners and primary care. Trust the Process Luton:David Peacock, Centre Manger, TTP Luton.David is a qualified and experienced addiction specialist, trained in addiction psychology and counselling. Dedicated to promoting a recovery community where each individual is able to learn and change, finding new ways live drug and alcohol free. David is in long term recovery, both from drugs and alcohol, an active member of fellowship and passionate about spirituality. Kelly Higgins, Senior Counsellor, TTP Luton.Kelly joined the team in September 2008. Kelly has a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and uses therapeutic drama and art to enhance our client’s therapeutic experience. Her work draws on 3 years experience of work with young people and with families with children in care. Rosie O’Farrell, Primary Counsellor, TTP Luton.Rosie has a theoretical background is in Psychodynamic counselling having completed her diploma at Birkbeck College in London. Rosie then went on to complete a 3 year Msc in addiction counselling and psychology at London Southbank University. Rosie worked as a counsellor for MIND in Milton Keynes for 7 years prior to joining TTP Luton in July 2009. Vanda Carvalho, Counsellor, TTP Luton.Vanda has been with Trust the Process since March 2008. She has worked under many different roles – support worker, trainee counsellor – she is very enthusiastic and passionate about her work. Vanda has Level 3 qualification in counselling studies with the CPCAB. She is studying at the Bedford College and is into her final year of a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – Person-Centred Approach. Carol Doyle, Administrator, TTP Luton.Carol Doyle has been working at TTP since June 2009. She is responsible for helping the clients with their benefits amongst many other things. Carol is the first port of call for any telephone calls which come into the centre. “I thoroughly enjoy my role here and hope to be here for many years to come!” Naomi Stott, Administrator, TTP Luton.Naomi is one of the newest members of the TTP Luton team. She works within the Housing department for our sober houses in Luton. She carries out house inspections to ensure all houses are kept to the highest standards; Naomi also deals with any Maintenance issues within the properties and everyday administration duties within the Luton centre. She has only been with TTP since October 2009. “I am really looking forward to the up and coming years.” Trust the Process Warrington:Davida Pugh, Centre Manager, TTP Warrington.Davida came to us from Edmonton Alberta Canada having emigrated from Britain in 1977. Davida did her Counseling training in Canada reaching the Advanced level Diploma as well as Psycho-dramatic Influences on early recovery. Davida started her career in counseling in Canada working extensively in the field of addictions both in treatment Centre and the Women’s penitentiary. Since coming back to Britain she has attained Management training to add to her portfolio. Davida has been with us for 2 and half years. Davida also has an influence on our Drama/ Music/Dance sessions having been a dancer/choreographer herself. She chose this career path as she has personal experience in the field. Terry Jeng, Senior Counsellor, TTP Warrington.After Terry gained a BA (Hons) degree he spent the next twelve month working with homeless people in St Anne’s detoxification centre, Leeds. At the same time he gained a post-graduate diploma in cross-cultural counseling and therapy. Terry then went on to work for a number of years in the criminal justice system where he worked in the field of addiction primarily in Prisons. Prior to coming to Trust the Process in July 2008 he worked in a day treatment facility, which was 12 Step based. Terry is now the senior counsellor at TTP Warrington. Diane Ezzard, Primary Counsellor, TTP Warrington.Diane started working for TTP Warrington in February 2010 as a primary counsellor. Diane has completed her Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and as part of her Diploma she spent six months on a placement at a residential drug and alcohol rehab. Diane has a vast experience of over 12 years, taking people through a 12-step programme of recovery. Kenneth Kelly, Stat Admissions Manager (North), TTP Warrington.Ken builds relationships with referring agencies to create a seamless journey to recovery for service users and serves as a one point of contact for comprehensive assessments, client updates and reporting. Ken uses skills from his background and calls upon his own recovery experience to understand the needs of both service user and referring agency. Educated in South Africa, Ken’s career included heading up a number of National companies at director level and in his private time was involved in founding and acting as chair for the Association of the Sensory Disabled (ASD) a charity organisation providing service to deaf blind children and their carers. Ken has a certificate in Person Centered Counselling and continues his personal development in health and social care. Ken is always available for a chat on how to establish referral pathways from your area. Rachel Flynn, Administrator, TTP Warrington.Rachel has worked at TTP Warrington since August 2008 and is responsible for client benefits both social and housing, and a wide range of administrative duties. She finds every day a joy and loves watching the clients recover and re-build their lives. Nicholas Rutherford, Sober Housing Officer, TTP Warrington.Nicholas has worked at TTP Warrington since November 2009, currently he is employed as a Sober Housing Officer. His main duties include overseeing our clients and houses in the evening. At the weekends Nicholas and other colleagues facilitate big book studies groups, other creative workshops and therapeutic groups. This is fully supported by the primary counselling team. Nicholas has just finished a counselling concepts course and is now moving on to further training within the field of rehabilitation. Pamela Oliver, Administrator, TTP Warrington.Pamela is part time Administrator & has worked for TTP Warrington since February 2010. Working alongside Pamela is Rachel Flynn, assisting clients with social and housing benefits and other general administrative duties. Pamela finds her position interesting and varied, and get a sense of achievement from helping people. Sarah Woods, Sober Housing Officer, TTP Warrington.Sarah joined TTP Warrington in April 2009 as a Sober Housing Officer. Working at TTP has totally changed Sarah’s life for the better; it has given her encouragement and confidence which she felt she was lacking in the past. “It has helped me to help others like ourselves and give them hope for the future. Anything is possible if you are willing to go to any lengths to get clean!” Her main duties include overseeing our clients and houses in the evening. At the weekends Sarah and other colleagues facilitate big book studies groups, other creative workshops and therapeutic groups. This is fully supported by the primary counselling team.
