Based in the centre of Warrington, we are a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre’s delivering flexible treatment plans and in-depth counselling to suit all a client’s needs. These are quasi residential programmes ranging up to 12 weeks primary and on to secondary, if required.

- Education – Strong ties already with the local college, confidence course provided on site (Holly House). Range of courses at the college, linked to University of Chester. Next Step holds a surgery once a week for clients giving careers, education and training advice. Next step and Disability Partnership provide funding support as well. Clients also access Learn Direct whilst in secondary. Budgeting, Fire Awareness, BBV workshop and support, Mental and Physical disability awareness are provided on site. Access to TTP Recovery Academy
- Work/Volunteering – TTP, YMCA, Next Step, Warrington Volunteer Centre, Disability Partnership, Fellowship Service, and Service User Group
- Dance Therapy – Weekly with a recovery focused professional dance company. This is very popular with clients, allowing them to grow in confidence and gives the opportunity to be involved in final productions which are rolled out on a continual basis
- Music therapy is held once a week – the clients write their own ‘recovery’ music aided by our very own in-house musicians
- Drama – workshop & performance
- Art therapy – is taken by a professional artist (ex client) and projects vary - recovery focused
- Meditation and Reiki
- Gymnasium – currently clients access a local gym at a discounted rate (available to secondary clients and senior peers only)
- Specialised Groups – Gender Groups
- Local Nutritionist
- Independent living skills
- Access to 5 a side football, swimming, squash, badminton and circuit training (Secondary)
Short term plans include:
- Currently in discussions with Local College regarding work placement/apprenticeship schemes for our service users – will update in due course
- We are hoping soon to roll out more courses on site here at holly house. – including peer mentoring, computing etc. Possibly funding for a computer suite. We are currently in talks with the above college and WLH’s learner provider. I will update as this develops
