FAQ about GHB / GBL

What are the effects of using GHB / GBL?

GHB causes a lowering of the respiratory system and reduces the amount of oxygen the brain receives. When this drug is used in small doses it has a similar effect to alcohol, however, at higher doses, this elation gives way to feelings of sedation. Some of the reported symptoms include vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, vertigo, and seizures. After excessive use, some users have experienced loss of consciousness, irregular and depressed respiration, tremors or coma, there have even been a number of fatalities occurring from GHB overdoses.

What treatments are required?
